All of the favourite sideshows were back with one or two new additions. Arena events included the traditional Tug of War and a display from the Kent Police Dog Unit.
The afternoon ended with the Howfield Manor Hotel Duck Race along the river.The adult race was won by Barbara Clayson and the children's race by Jude Day - Palmer
The £5000 raised during the afternoon will be shared between the Chartham Sports & Youth Clubs. The Fete Committee would like to say a very big thank you to all of the many volunteers who worked hard to make the afternoon a success and all of the local businesses who provided sponsorship and prizes.
